Mood, was a three person exhibition featuring the works of Renee Delosh, Steven Mayer, and Andrea McGinty at Yes Ma’am Projects. This trio of New York based artists work across media, weaving in and out of daydreams, memories, and obsessions, effectively storytelling and narrative-making to both familiar an alienating results.

Deeply personal yet lighthearted and often humorous, Mood functioned much like a shared social media platform in three dimensional form. Each piece acts as a post, building individual narrative for each artist as they chronicle a type of public diary. Operating in closely intertwined physical and digital worlds, metaphor becomes especially powerful, allowing thoughts, feelings, hardships, successes, affections, and even hostility to play off one another. In this communal echo chamber the line between the gravely serious and the irreverent become blurred and ultimately indistinguishable.

Yes Ma’am Projects is an independently funded nebulous entity that curates show and gives away artist grants.
